Ah...as of Friday all Americans can be free of telemarketers...well, sorta. The gov't is creating a National Do Not Call Registry...the first day it came out, 7 million ppl registered. Needless to say, computer networks were very full. The actual registry list will start being enforced Oct. 1. After that, it's an $11,000 fine for telemarketers if they call a person on that list. Of course, you have to complain if they do, or nothing will happen. I just registered. I'm so happy. It's valid until 2008. If you too want to join the rush, visit The Site.
