Dear ********,

Congratulations on your acceptance into the College of Arts and Sciences at
Cornell University! We are very pleased to be welcoming you to the Class of
2006.

The university is using e-mail to notify you as quickly as possible of the
positive outcome of your application for admission to Cornell. This electronic
message is not your official acceptance notification, however. You will be
receiving an official acceptance letter from us in the mail within a few days.
It will arrive in a large packet filled with information about housing and
dining, financial aid, and our two-week long, on-campus program for accepted
students: Cornell Days (April 11-25).

In the meantime, please let us know if we can assist you in any way. We are
excited at the prospect of your joining the Cornell community and know that you
will make a very positive contribution to the university as a future Cornellian.

Sincerely,

Doris Davis
Associate Provost
Admissions and Enrollment
