Jack: So, what's the worst case scenario you imagine for us, and the best case scenario?

LYLT: Umm...we either date, or we don't date... Why, what's it for you?

Jack: We get married, or we don't ever speak to each other ever again or have any contact with each other, or anything.

Silence.

Is it just me, or is that not a bit extreme...?

LYLT: Ah...well, I didn't know you meant it that way...well then, I'd have a different answer. We're either married...or we both end up dead.

Evil laughter ensues on my part.

Jack: (Nervous chuckle that abruptly stops)
